Jun 28, - 4 Comments If you ever use an iPhone to connect to a speaker system, car stereo, headphones, or microphone, or stereo via Bluetooth, you may have been in a situation where you have an active phone call on the iPhone but want to change from the Bluetooth audio source, be it speakers or headphones. Done properly there will be no interruption as you disconnect from Bluetooth and switch back to the iPhone. To be clear; this does not turn off Bluetooth , nor does it disconnect the Bluetooth device. Bluetooth is left enabled, it just switches the iPhone from the Bluetooth connection and Bluetooth audio to the iPhone handset itself. For example, if your iPhone is hooked up to a car stereo but you want to take the call private and off of the car stereo, you would do this. Or if the iPhone is hooked up to a Bluetooth stereo and you want to bring the phone call to the handset.

Bluetooth mutes all voice commands Sat Sep 22, pm Whenever I switch on Bluetooth on my Android phone, then enter a destination, I get an initial "Let's get started" voice response, but all voice commands after that are muted. If I switch off Bluetooth, voice commands work OK. This means that I am unable to connect to my car's hands free phone system, or play Waze voice commands through the car's speakers. Anyone got any idea why this happens? Re: Bluetooth mutes all voice commands Sun Sep 23, am Depends on the car and the connection type. On my car, Bluetooth allows hands free calls over my radio while I listen to FM but no navigation commands. To get those over my car radio, I need to switch my radio to Bluetooth input.

Connect Your Phone to Your Car Stereo On the Cheap
William Judd How do you connect your Note 8 to your car, for listening to music, listening to GPS navigation instructions or taking calls? Android Auto is rare, but well worth it Android Auto is one of the best ways to connect your phone to your car stereo. You can control the music using the touchscreen or using the vehicles media buttons. You get navigation, notifications and plenty of other nice features as well. Unfortunately, Android Auto is only available as an option in a limited number of recent cars from marques like Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz.
Without spending a fortune, is there a way I can connect my phone to the stereo so I can listen to music? A: Yes, you absolutely have a few options — some more expensive than others, and one that might actually cost you next to nothing. That thing is looong gone by now, right? For a couple sawbucks, you can add a Bluetooth connection of sorts to your stereo. Your phone connects to the transmitter via Bluetooth, and the transmitter then relays the audio from your phone to a blank FM station on your radio.
